Happy 19th birthday to me =)

Yay, I'm finally 19. One year older and wiser =D Hoho... I slacked at home in the afternoon and spent the evening with my family. =)

went for buffet at Concourt hotel. Hoho. Looks CAN be deceiving. The carpark looks so run down. Just when we thought that we made the wrong choice for buffet again =x and wanted to switch to another hotel, we were wrong. The interior was classy enough and well, the service was not bad. Nope, actually it's quite good. Apparently the management changed hands and now, the restaurant is trying to win back their old customers. Hahax. =) Try that hotel. It costs around $39(dinner) after discounts for UOB and Citibank credit card holders. We tried their crabs, and I got tired of eating them, again. Hahax. Trying to eat crabs while maintaining your image and not dirtying your clothes is horrible =x. I'm sure some of you know what a messy eater I am. =p Only the soft shell crabs and black pepper crab were nice though. For the spread, their desserts are not comparable to mariot or rather, mandrain hotel. So little variety. But but, I loooove the chocolate moose. The soft texture of chocolate cream that totally melts in your mouth. Yum.

but Daddy caught a seaworm inside the mussels. Apparently it's because it's fresh from the sea so it's can't be helped. The manager came to speak to us about it. And he was really nice. I guess it's because it's fresh. But I avoided the cold seafood section anyways. My stomach cannot take it either =p

And then...


Rooftop garden at Orchard Central. Quiet, peaceful and empty. Different from 24th where it was sooo crowded. But, the view at Marina Barrage was better. Way better. Unobstructed by any glass walls. Quiet and peaceful too. =) Much windier too. Love the wind. <3 Best of all, I DROVE there. Yesh, I drove =) And die liao... I'm driving like reason, or tacopachow =p. Rounding curves at 50-60km/h? =p hoho. The thrill of driving at high speed was definitely there. =p But my mum felt like vomitting after that =x And my sisters don't trust my driving =X

Thank you Mummy and and Daddy for your Ang Pao. I shall keep it. =)

To everyone else who wished me be it through sms or facebook or msn, Thank YOoouuuus...

And to those who gave me presents and cards for my birthday and christmas, Muacks. Love ya. =) Now there are lesser things off my wish list. And this includes wallet, clothes, hp pounch, ear phones and photo frame. =) And I finally bought my flats. More like slippers but hip hip hurray! Lesser shopping to be done. ^^

Although Geraldine has been having fun, she is tired. Coz she has been going out every day since holidays started. And she decided that she needs, Geraldine's day. A day where she will have an appointment with herself to reflect, slack, put her head in the clouds and have sometime for herself. This means that her handphone will be thrown somewhere far away and no msn until she gets bored of the date with herself =p it will also be a family day =D And Geraldine Day shall start on 30th Dec, and next year, it will fall on every other day she is not going out. =D
