Look so lovely dovey right? Maybe I should blow the background out of proportions to give that romantic sort of feeling...

Thursday, July 10, 2008 Jia Xian's birthday celebration at East Coast Park + post mid-year review

Many of you guys had been complaining about my blog not being active and here's the long awaited post - Biz Club outing. I initially planned to publish this post on the day itself, but since I didn't have the photos coupled with the demanding timetable I have in school, the task was postponed to a few days later.

Speaking of which, the timetable really sucks. From 7.55 in the morning to around 5.05(changed to 1 day, initially 2) , 4.15(2 days) , 3.25( Friday), I will be stuck in school with all the revision lectures and tutorials. Then, back at home, as if I'm not jaded enough, I'm expected to do consistent revision with tutorials and assignment. In other words, the new timetable has cut short my time for relaxation! >=(

Alright, back to the topic. I shall let the pictures do the talking. hahax. My lazy way of blogging by bombarding you with pictures. =p I promise it will be interesting.

Btw, I edited some of the photos. You can cross reference with hayden's blog but I tried to make some look better. Those that have been edited have been noted with an *. Changes that are subtle are represented by **, so you can try spotting the difference. hahax, I mainly tweaked with the gaussian blur and the exposure.

The
day started out with me meeting up with Hayden first to borrow his bike(thank you Hayden!) followed by meeting up with the rest at VS(Victoria Secondary). Yes! I didn't make a mistake nor did you see wrongly. For those who don't know, VS is a all boys school, so just a girl's presence alone would raise eyebrows. In the end, 4 of us(girls) managed to sneak in. *grins* The school is really huge, far from comparison with LYSS, not that any comparison can be made. Lolx. Anwyays, I saw some other girls inside VS canteen so I don't think it really bans female from entering.

The school Logo...

Gosh! How scandalous. hahax. Mabel, did you have a good rest on JX's shoulder? Was his shoulder broad? =p

Our lunch at the hawker centre. The satay was really good!
Wasn't really satisfied with the outcome of playing around with photoshop, but I'm too lazy to change. Oh well...

The birthday boy is the one who stands out the most! Also, this picture is my phone's new wallpaper. =D

All of us at the spiral staircase. Charles looks like he's going to be killed by EN CHou!

Woah... All the big shots posing for the camera! Look at the way Daniel is standing...

The 2 bosses of biz club..

Another scandal? O.o Charlie and his angel

What's Daniel doing? Advertising for a lolipop and drink?

Oppx, JX looks contipated and something seems to be going on after the photo was taken...

Round 3 of sabotaging!

The whipped cream taste sweet...hehe.. Looks like JX is halfway through his shaving...

Now the cream became his Gel...

Daniel caught in the action of bullying me...=(
Nah...Just kidding. Water struggle...

Prize Presentation ceremony to receive my handphone back...lolx!

Oh yeah, we had fun cycling for 2.5 hours from East Coast to the somewhere near the Changi runway and back. A thrilling and novel experience for me. Towards the end, I had the honour of getting the thrill of carrying out 2 sabotaging attacks on JX. ^^ All in all, I'm glad I went. =) I didn't have to worry about being "not wanted" and such.

I know what you guys are going to say, so I'm going to confess first. This post was rather slip shot as can be seen by the "can't be bothered, lame jokes" I tried to make. Forgive me alright, brain dead at the moment. I'm sure someone will lambaste me for that comment if he's reading this.
STILL.. I don't care..

Mid-year Results

After that 1 day of fun, we were back in school again, this time, with cramps in my fat thighs, at least for me. It was understandable since we cycled from East Coast Park to somewhere near Changi airport runway and chionging back to East Coast park again. That explains my cramps.

As expected, I did badly for mid-years on the overall. For everyone out there worrying about their results, don't worry, coz you have someone here(me) cushioning you at the bottom. I wager that I will be the first on the list for MTPS(Meet the parents Session).

2 subjetcs made my day today though, namely General Paper(GP) and Mathematics. The improvement in results was an encouragement to me, though Paper 1 in GP might be viewed as a fluke. For Maths, I guess I will have to brush up more on my pure maths.

On the overall, I guess I need to put in more effort and time into all my subject with more consistency of studying. I definetely hate the burn out effect before the examinations. As for subjects not mentioned, MUCH MUCH more time is required to be devoted to them.

I promise I will put in more effort and spend less time on the computer, seek consultations actively and prepare myself sufficently well with LOTS of practice of A level. Then, score in A level exams to do my brain and all the sarcrifices I gave up(sleep especially) justice.

~After listening to my sister's opinion, I began to question my choices on the survey done today. Maybe I got my pirorities mixed up, but it's still an interesting session.
