Tuesday, November 18, 2008 It's finally the end of A levels...

The last paper today officially marks the end of A Levels. It still feels so ephemeral, so... unbelievable. 17 tedious years, stuck in a rigid systematic education system. Years of studying for that piece of certificate at the end of this journey has finally come to an end. Whilst waiting for the results(which i'm not inclined to comment on), I can finally attend to my many whims.

It's kind of daunting, finally being able to do what I want, without the naggy feeling that "you got your priorities mixed up". I certainly do not wish to waste the time away like I did during the break after O levels. It's just that there's so many things to do, that I can't feel even fathom the sequence to which I should attend to first. So there's the idea of revitalizing my piano skills and at while I'm at it, clean off those dust between the keys, learning two languages(Japanese & French) within the short course of 3-4 months at most, taking up Akido(since it would be more useful than Muai Thai, considering my small built), driving lessons(next year), not forgetting my photoshop skills, trying out new programs like cinema 4d, programming etc...

You get the idea and the above are only the tip of the iceberg. There are more like pursing my personal goal(which is a secret), and working for the money to fund my numerous whims. I agree, that it's rather ambitious to want to satisfy all of this wants which I may not even begin at all, but we'll see. In the mean time, I would have fun going out for chalets, hanging out with friends etc.

It's ironic indeed, that I would rather take up a new language and instead of improving my mother tongue especially since China is expected to be the new superpower.Oh well..

P.S For those who have been visiting my blog, this post has been around since the 18th nov. Yuppx.. And I finally decided to post it, after browsing through it again...
