Happy 19th birthday to me =)

Yay, I'm finally 19. One year older and wiser =D Hoho... I slacked at home in the afternoon and spent the evening with my family. =)

went for buffet at Concourt hotel. Hoho. Looks CAN be deceiving. The carpark looks so run down. Just when we thought that we made the wrong choice for buffet again =x and wanted to switch to another hotel, we were wrong. The interior was classy enough and well, the service was not bad. Nope, actually it's quite good. Apparently the management changed hands and now, the restaurant is trying to win back their old customers. Hahax. =) Try that hotel. It costs around $39(dinner) after discounts for UOB and Citibank credit card holders. We tried their crabs, and I got tired of eating them, again. Hahax. Trying to eat crabs while maintaining your image and not dirtying your clothes is horrible =x. I'm sure some of you know what a messy eater I am. =p Only the soft shell crabs and black pepper crab were nice though. For the spread, their desserts are not comparable to mariot or rather, mandrain hotel. So little variety. But but, I loooove the chocolate moose. The soft texture of chocolate cream that totally melts in your mouth. Yum.

but Daddy caught a seaworm inside the mussels. Apparently it's because it's fresh from the sea so it's can't be helped. The manager came to speak to us about it. And he was really nice. I guess it's because it's fresh. But I avoided the cold seafood section anyways. My stomach cannot take it either =p

And then...


Rooftop garden at Orchard Central. Quiet, peaceful and empty. Different from 24th where it was sooo crowded. But, the view at Marina Barrage was better. Way better. Unobstructed by any glass walls. Quiet and peaceful too. =) Much windier too. Love the wind. <3 Best of all, I DROVE there. Yesh, I drove =) And die liao... I'm driving like reason, or tacopachow =p. Rounding curves at 50-60km/h? =p hoho. The thrill of driving at high speed was definitely there. =p But my mum felt like vomitting after that =x And my sisters don't trust my driving =X

Thank you Mummy and and Daddy for your Ang Pao. I shall keep it. =)

To everyone else who wished me be it through sms or facebook or msn, Thank YOoouuuus...

And to those who gave me presents and cards for my birthday and christmas, Muacks. Love ya. =) Now there are lesser things off my wish list. And this includes wallet, clothes, hp pounch, ear phones and photo frame. =) And I finally bought my flats. More like slippers but hip hip hurray! Lesser shopping to be done. ^^

Although Geraldine has been having fun, she is tired. Coz she has been going out every day since holidays started. And she decided that she needs, Geraldine's day. A day where she will have an appointment with herself to reflect, slack, put her head in the clouds and have sometime for herself. This means that her handphone will be thrown somewhere far away and no msn until she gets bored of the date with herself =p it will also be a family day =D And Geraldine Day shall start on 30th Dec, and next year, it will fall on every other day she is not going out. =D

In the end, I couldn't S/U PC1431. Hahax... What a waste of time thinking about it. lol. But but, even if I can, I wouldn't S/u it. As Jansen has analysed, it would be uber difficult with no guarantee of doing better. A waste of S/u and time.

I will just work hard next sem. =)


On another note...

I feel so blessed and happy every day. =) Especially this december holiday, especially this year. =) A special christmas eve and christmas. =) One that I will remember for life. hoho... the crowded stretch of orchard road and the other part of singapore that is too quiet. The contrast. But, I like the atmosphere. Both of them =)

Should I s/u PC1431? If I exercise the S/U option, not only would I be wasting 1 of my 3 SUs, I would have to retake it, and I have no confidence to do better. If I do badly again, it would be a waste of SUs. Plus, I would have to overload next semester. Can I take it? 6 Modules, studying the same thing all over again. New friends, new environment. Concepts I can't get in 3 months, would I understand the concepts given 3 more months? =X

Whatever decision I make by 2359 tomorrow, I hope I won't regret it.

Biz Club Merry Birthday at Hayden's House!

Yupx, you saw it right, Merry Birthday, because it is a Xmas plus birthday celebrations for Asher, Daniel, En Chou and Me! The cake is from awesomly chocolate and like it's name suggest, it is VERY chocolately. So expensive and sinful...but worth the money =D Gosh... I'm so gonna gain a few more kgs over christmas, with the Dim Sum Ala Carte with my cousins followed by Xmas party organised by yan, rach and andrew at Marina Barrage.

hoho... It's 3am and I'm still up awake! Oppx... And I'm going out tommorrow too... Hahax.. I had a great time today, and I had Turkey! Yes, I finally ate Turkey for Xmas. Hahax. First time eating it. Like Jansen said, "it's just a upsized chicken!" Like totally! taste like chicken but the stuffing, hmm... a little weird. Taste like fishcakes perhaps? We played 1 to 10 verbal game, the bloody meh meh game which had me wrecking my brains over it during orientation, MRT game and the frog game =D Oh yes, and the bang bang, who died game. Many variations of the game above =D

Thank you Hayden for the 2 hand drawn card: one for christmas and one for my b'day =) So much effort put into it =D Btw, I keep all the cards and little notes I receive =) They are something that cannot be found anywhere. =D Thank you Jon for you Xmas gift too. Pray to you eh jon?

I received lots of gifts today, from my birthday present, lucky draw xmas present(from En Chou, which coincidentally is what I gave to Jeremy as birthday present before, I love the box btw), and souveniors from Hayden and Asher. Thank you(s)! I love all the gifts, plus plus Sy En's Chirstmas present(from JX - Can I steal it? Pretty please... And give it to someone else =p ) and and En Chou's 2010 Calender. Omg, so much thought was put inside his calender. Like Jia Xian said, can each of us have it as a doorgift from Perkcafe? Steal the funds En Chou and Jia Xian! ^^ I shall be your accomplice. We would love to have that as a door gift. And hoho... I need a wallet badly. Those who choose my gift has taste. Purple color XD Thanks! Charles exceeded the budget too. Good idea on the christmas present. Hoho. Lots of thoughts put into it too XD

And, thank you En Chou for sending me back to my doorstep and accompanying me till my parents and sisters reached home after avatar. Which was like 1-2am plus? But it's your fault for scaring me with all the ghost stories. So scary.... =X Now I will try to go home earlier the next time I go out. And I don't want to walk past the playground near our neighbourhood too =S Avoiding the Changi Beach is a good idea past 12 too. Blehx. Scary~ but we caught up. Haven't talked like that in a long time eh? Since 2 years ago? Or maybe last year. Ask me out next time okay! We should have talks like this occassionally. And I would have a different perspective of things =D And Jia Xian too =D My brain juice and enthusiasm for buisness is running out. =X

As for results, don't ask. It sucked. Horribly. Sigh... Nevermind. There's no use crying over split milk. I have 7 Sems to go. For those out there and to myself, Jia You. Hang on okay? Things will work out. Work hard and never give up.

Geraldine is broke =( super broke.

But, she is happy coz she found christmas presents for yan's celebration, secondary school friends, and biz club outing. Yay! =) And she has also finished wrapping them up and they are now nice and pretty =) Look forward to it =)

A forehead full of sweat, sweaty plams, Stomachache, feeling faint...

Symptoms of food poisoning. =x

Yupx, I woke up to these symptoms today. As a result, I had no choice but to skip Sentosa outing today =X

Dang, I wish I was there, right now playing under the sun with the rest. But who knows when my giddness and stomachache will act up. It's an on and off kind of thing.

And it's best not to go cycling tomorrow. Sigh... This means the plan to go cycling with Jansen has to be cancelled. =X Hope I get well soon~

~ Since I had to miss the Sentosa outing, and cancel tomorrow's cycling trip, let me lose some weight pretty please...~

=) To SH, WH & Fadz: We caught up alot yesterday eh? Our first htht in our 4/5 we have known each other eh? And I surprised them with my update on my life =p Who will be the next to surprise us I wonder? =p

"No, you kill it. It's at your bedside."

After much jostling and pushing, I picked up my rolled up newspaper as weapon and appraoched the insect. Alas, I chickened out halfway and pushed my sis to the job. In the end, after much screams of fight and gusto and chasing around the FLYING cockroach with a baton of rolled up newspapers, I managed to kill it, right as it exited my bedroom and tried to enter another room. My first time killing a cockroach....

What an ordeal! And we had to kill it because it lay eggs. Like what my friend said, "haha yeah flying roach means it preg ... and to protect their eggs they fly ... and even if you manage to kill it, you have to dispose the body if you leave it as it is the baby roaches can still hatch and come out from the body."

We also put masking tape around the cockroach blood so that no one steps on it. Then wait for our father to come back and mop the area. Like a crime scene like that. hahax.. Like someone died..Lolx.

So learn from my lesson people, KILL the roach and put masking tape over it. And rule no 2 from Zombie land: Double Tap! Hahahx...

I just came back from the outing with Hui Li and peeps. Didn't expect to receive 2 presents, one from Jon and another from QH. Yay! Thank you Jon for your christmas present and QH for your souvenior. ^^ QH's souveniors are especially interesting...Look, the pictures are below.

Hurray! It's the holidays~

busy busy...

Seems like I'm more busy and jaded during the holidays than during exam time. Today is around the 8th consecutive day I went out since exam ended. But, it's fun. Hahax... Just watching the clouds pass by, enjoying the scenary on the bus/train and not sleeping through it, watching the raindrops fall, doing lots of random things... =)

I watched Christmas Carols and Zombie Land. Zombie land was gory and plain mindless, but it was funny nevertheless. Haha. Be prepared not to bring too much food inside, unless you intend to test your capacity for eating while watching guts spilling out, go ahead ^^ And Christmas Carols 3D effects were great! =D With the 3D specs on, it was well worth the more expensive price. Kinda reminds me of Movie world in Australia. Hahahax. =D

Stamina! Give me stamina to last the next few outings I'm going out. I need the energy. Maybe some donuts for sugar rush maybe? *hint hint* =p

And... gosh, at the current rate I'm going out, my savings are going to decrease. =( I need money! Otherwise, I'm just going to rot at home and refuse to go out. =X Find me a sugar daddy.Or I shall start indulging in lower cost activities. Less movies then people =D

But having said that, I can't wait to see Hui Li and peeps and catch up with Wenhui, SH & fadz soon~ =D

Christmas plus a very special day is coming soon. =D Other than 22-12-09 of course, the day when results are out. =x I hope whatever the results are, it won't affect my mood to celebrate. And dang, there is also the all, equally-stressful-as-exam period of bidding soon. =( Blehx.

Last paper yesterday! \(^o^)/

After a long 2 weeks, my exams are finally over. It feels like a long and drawn out battle fought, and one that I struggled through. \(^o^)/ But till my results are sent to my house on 22/12, let's forget about studies for a while and enjoy myself till then =p, and hopefully, I will be in the mood to enjoy and celebrate my birthday after my results are out =x I don't expect to do very well though. but... Hello friends, Hello dates, hello shopping, hello life! ^^

This marks the end of 1 semester in NUS, and the beginning of holidays. =) It's been 3 long months, with lots of new and interesting friends being made. And that summary of my 3 months of university life shall be summarised later.

I went 3 newly opened shopping malls today: Iluma at Bugis, Ion at Orchard and 313 at sommerset =) The lights at Orchard are so pretty... And the christmas tree outside Ion is humongous... =) Go inside the christmas tree... Yepx, inside the christmas tree.. The lights inside are reflected by crystals hanging from the top of the christmas tree =) And of course, I couldn't resist camwhoring and whipping out my phone to take pictures of such beautiful lights... The crystals look like meteriods in a galaxy of stars, formed by the reflected lights. =) Hahax... A word of warning though, it's brighter than it looks. =) Be prepared to be blinded the first time you step inside =p


And... I loveee Otaku House at Iluma. I managed to find a keychain I have been searching for since last month =) And I finally found it, at Otaku House ^^ Hahax.. And just today, I passed by 4/5 precious thoughts, went into 3 arcades, one at suntec, bugis and one at ilumna. =) We also went into a few outlets of action city and minitoons... XD Hahahx... And.. There;s a very interesting store in Iluma for gifts =D Super interesting items sold. They scream "personality". For example, there's a father's day magnet that reads "Do I look like a bank?" LOLX. And... many more... Hahax.. They make a good idea for a christmas present =p


Oh yes, V8 cafe is not bad. You should try their signature dish. =p There's great ambience too... And the price is reasonable, with $13+ a meal, together with drinks and side dishes. One of my soon to be favourite hang out =)



For now, I need SLEEP! Yes, I need that so so much. Otherwise I will hyperventilate. And that is bad. Because it's freaky uncomfortable, and I feel faint if I don't take deep enough breathes... =x So... Till next time =)
