Omg Omg! I got a place at Prince George Park Residence in NUS. Today was a whirlwind of events. Having a 2 hour free time in between lesson, I went to the Student Service Centre with the intent to at least put my name on the waiting list, or so I thought. Unexpectedly, I got the offer of residence today and I have to check in by tomorrow!


I wonder if it's a type B or C. After all that weighing of pros and cons, I've decided on getting a type B(with basin in the room) or a type C(just the bed and the table) to a type A one. Sure, a type A is bigger, with more perks like aircon and a bathroom in your room! But, it cost double the amount and staying in such a place makes me feel really guilty since I'm not the one paying for the rent and utility bills.

It's like having my own "house"/ room and imagine the increased freedom I have. Of course, this comes with increased responsibilty like washing my own clothes, ironing and cleaning my rooms. But nevermind this for now. I've already sent out "room warming" invitations to all my friends. Hahax. Super excited! All the HTHT at night and the new friends I will make.

This means that my timetable will be more packed now but it will seem more like a university now. My life has become mundane, a rountine where I wake up, go to school for lessons, study and then go home. With this residence vacancy, I'm more determined to be more active to keep my place in the residence. Hahax. Let's see how many excos position I can get and CCA points I earn. Muhahax...

My mum doesn't want me to move in during the 7th month though. Hopefully I can delay my check in by a week and this means $70/$80 less to pay for! Cool! Not that I'm supersitious, but I have already planned my term break out(having driving lessons twice that week) and it's not inclusive of staying in PGP. Hopefully I can work something out. Man.. so troublesome. But it should be worth the trouble.

Andrew got for me X mini Speakers, 2nd generation for me at the recent IT fair. The sound quality is damn good. Worth the price for $46. Hahax. Yayness.. \(^o^)/ Gosh, I also finally changed my laptop os to windows 7. So much faster. =) Unfortunately my speakers are not working. Guess I will have to bring an external speakers to pgp so that I can chat using skype =D Let's see... Now what's left is to repair my hardrive and reformat it again... or at least back up the data. Oh yes, not forgetting my computer. to reformat it and install all the programs again.

On another note, it seems that I can't get a place for the bbq. Oh man. I hope that we will still be able to do a make shift bbq. Otherwise, we have no choice but to cancel it off =(
