Gosh, it's 1.26am now and I'm still awake. Just spent the night re-watching Harry Potter again for who-knows-how-many-times. I got so bored of trying to focus my attention on reading the New Highway code and at least finishing till the section I want before I go to sleep. Alas, it was hopeless. My mind just kept wandering or daydreaming as I skimmed through the text while nothing really registers. Luckily, mellylemon posted a new update on The One. Sigh... I guess by the time I'm done with this post, 10mins will be gone. and then I will read the one. ^^ btw, warnings ahead for those who don't like my ramblings about manga coz this post will be full of them. =) and recommendations too.

Like mellylemon, I love mangas/manhwa/manhua about smart/intelligent people. They just appeals to me, perhaps part of me wanting to be like them. I guess that's what the main point I was trying to drive across. Which is why I absolutely detest some shoujo manga, where the main character is so dumb (Special A being an exception. I nearly gave up reading on that, if not for Kei. It's just so nerve-wracking, when the story don't go anywhere. ) At least in Skip beat, even though Kyouko is kind of an idiot, when it comes to acting out to a certain stituation, her reactions are totally unexpected. And Ren... The perseverance I admire appears again. ^^

Let's see, another exception would be the totally opposite, on the other side of the scale, an absolute moron like Ha Ji form Hot Blooded woman, who apparently turned out to be sly and not so idiot. Another Hilarious Series I would recommend. The ending was so not satisfactory though, a point which I have complained time and time again. Han-Seo, an absolutely psychotic man with a screwed up way of expressing his feelings. He has charisma though and is not that dumb after all, unlike a certain Sin Uoo. I guess these are the latest craze now, for shoujo manga. As for shonen, it would be the usual One Piece, Bleach and Naruto by which Bleach and Naruto are getting a little boring. One Piece storyplot is still as fresh as ever and draws me in. There's also new ones like Psyren, Pandora Hearts, Alive... Hmm I guess that would be all?

Oh yes, another intelligent character you would find would be in Liar Game. I absolutely love the plot and how the game progresses. You will learn alot I believe.

And before I scream about wanting to get a new ipod touch, thanks to En Chou for throwing that suggestion to buy one, I guess I will be waiting for IT fairs or for the prices to come down a bit. hahax. And perhaps, just perhaps I will buy. For now, I will settle my desire with reading The One.^^

PS. Firefox is so much slower nowadays. I think I should consider switching to Opera. =( How troublesome.
